Introduction to the Qifa Pagoda: The Qifa Pagoda is 7.8 meters high, octagonal in shape, with seven floors, and eight shrines on each floor. In the first year of Yifeng (676 years) of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty, after the Sixth Patriarch Huineng shaved his hair and became a monk under the bodhi tree, the abbot at that time, Master Yinzong, buried Huineng's hair here. Later a tower was built to commemorate it.
