Introduction to the Polo Tree: According to legend, during the Tang Dynasty, there was a tribute envoy named Daxi from the Polo Kingdom in ancient India. After arriving in Beijing to pay tribute, he went to the Nanhai Temple and planted the two Polo saplings he brought with him in front of the temple. The Polo tree grows bigger and bigger, and the longer it grows, the more outstanding it is, so people call the Nanhai Temple commonly known as the Polo Temple.
