Introduction to the Qing Wharf ruins: The ancient wharf in the Qing Dynasty was discovered when the "Gothenburg" returned to Huangpu and was discovered in the square in front of the Nanhai Temple. The discovery of the ancient wharf proves that the Pearl River water in the Qing Dynasty still reached in front of the "Hai Calm Waves" archway, where most people who went to the Nanhai Temple disembarked from their boats. The pier is paved with granite, with a total of nine water-friendly steps. The road leading to the temple is paved with five slabs of granite, which is called the Nine-Five Lord and has a royal style. There are circular "fire pits" on both sides of the approach road. It is a relic of the old custom of believers making fire to burn pigs at the third watch and worshiping gods at the fifth watch.
