Introduction to Yuquan Mountain: Guan Gong's loyalty, benevolence and courage, his unyielding integrity in wealth and poverty, his unwavering strength and unyielding integrity, are highly praised by future generations. Guan Gong did not seek fame and fortune, nor was he greedy for money. His loyal and innocent moral character was as white and flawless as jade. As pure as spring water. Therefore, people thought that the name of Black Pine Forest Mountain and its meaning of thieves and bandits could not complement Guan Gong's famous virtues. Therefore, the name of Black Pine Forest Mountain was changed to the name of Yuquan Mountain, which is pure and white. According to the existing fragmentary stele in Guanwang Temple, "Jade has the virtue of being white and warm, and springs have the meaning of clarifying their origins. Clean means that there is no stain, and pure means that there is no dirt. The whiteness of the jade means the clearness of the spring." The green mountains are like a world apart. Yuquan Mountain originally had a clear and transparent spring that flows all year round. Legend has it that the Nanman people who were stealing treasures discovered it and stole the water with two empty egg shells. Master Guan was very anxious when he learned about this and hurriedly sent Zhou Cang to catch up. Zhou Cang chased him back and forth, from Dongzhaigou to Niangziguan. Seeing Zhou Cang's angry face, the Nanman people raised their swords to kill him. They were so frightened that they dropped the two egg shells containing the Yuquan water and ran away. As a result, they beat the Yuquan water at Niangziguan. Since then, there have been no natural springs in Yuquan Mountain.
