Introduction to the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument: In the center stands the magnificent Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, with an inscription written by Comrade Xie Juezai, former Minister of the Interior and one of the "Five Elders" of the Chinese Revolution: "Lighting with the Sun and the Moon." The grassy lawn in front of the monument is a gathering place for people to commemorate the martyrs. The tall cypress trees on the side of the monument are evergreen all year round, like loyal guards guarding the grave.
