Introduction to Xiuzheng Hall: It is a library where scholars study. It was built in the sixth year of Emperor Tongzhi (1867) and is also a place where state affairs are handled. There are 10 rooms on the front and 4 on the side, with a higher base. This place was originally Jixianjeon, but it was burned down during the Japanese Rebellion in Imjin. During the Gojong period, it was rebuilt at the same time as other buildings of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
