Introduction to the Sales Department of Chongqing's "Xinhua Daily": The Sales Department of "Xinhua Daily" was built in the 1930s. It is a black building with a Chinese and Western style brick and wood structure. There are six rooms on the third floor and one ground floor. The four characters "Xinhua Daily" written across the forehead were inscribed by Mr. Yu Youren, the director of the Supervisory Yuan of the National Government at that time. The "Xinhua Daily" headquarters was the headquarters and printing plant of the only large-scale political organ publicly published and distributed by the Communist Party of China in the Kuomintang-controlled areas during the Anti-Japanese War and the early Liberation War.
