Introduction to the former site of Qiongya No.1 CPC National Congress: Located at No. 131 Zhulinli, Haikou City, at the corner of Jiefang West Road, the Qiu House was built in 1919. It faces north and south, with two entrances and three rooms, and east and west wings. It is a more typical Hainan style building. Residential buildings. When Qiu Jueyi, the former owner of the old house, built this old house, it was when the Chinese revolution was just beginning to take shape. Influenced by the ideas of democratic revolution, he gradually moved on to sympathize with and support the revolution. In 1924, Qiu Bingheng, the son of Qiu Jueyi, provided the house to the Qiongya Communist Party organization as a contact point for revolutionary activities. In June 1926, the first Qiongya Congress of the Communist Party of China was held here, and the top leader of the Qiongya Party was elected at the meeting. The organization - the Qiongya Local Committee of the Communist Party of China, marked the official birth of the Hainan Island party organization. The Qiongya revolutionary movement entered a new stage, and the Qiu family's ancestral home became the "Jiaxing South Lake Cruise" in the minds of the Hainan people.
