Introduction to Xijian Thatched Cottage: Xijian Thatched Cottage is a Qing Dynasty library located at the foothills of Wancang Mountain and on the shore of North Lake. It is named after its proximity to Xijian. The thatched cottage was built in the first year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1821). It is a typical residential building with five floors and five bases. It was originally the Bing house of the Jiang family in Xiashi. Xijian Thatched Cottage was rebuilt in 1984 and is now a key cultural relic protection unit in Haiyan County.
