Introduction to the former site of the Red 25th Army Headquarters: On March 8, 1935, the Red 25th Army was established with Cheng Zihua as commander, Xu Haidong as deputy commander, Wu Huanguang as political commissar, and Zheng Weisan as director of the political department. The Hubei-Henan-Anhui base went north to fight against Japan, passing through Yangxian County and garrisoned in Huayang. The military headquarters is located in the Yu Family Courtyard in Hongshiyao Village, 5 kilometers away from Huayang Town, Yang County. The military chief lives in the headquarters. During the 25th Army's garrison in Huayang, it became the military and political center of the Huayang Soviet Area. There are now more than 100 knives and guns used by the Red Army, as well as slogans and some items written by the Red Army. It is a key base for patriotism education in Hanzhong City.
