Introduction to La Fuersa Castle: La Fuersa Castle is located in the New City. Built in 1538, it is the oldest castle in Cuba and the second oldest castle in the Americas. The castle building is square, surrounded by walls, with a towering tower on top, and a bronze statue of an Indian girl "Havana", from which the city of Havana got its name.
