Introduction to Mingjiao Temple: Mingjiao Temple is located on the Mingjiao Platform next to Xiaoyaojin Park in Hefei Temple. According to legend, this platform was once Cao Cao's commanding platform. In 1983, it was designated as a national key Buddhist temple in the Han area by the State Council. Mingjiao Temple was first built in the Southern Dynasties during the reign of Emperor Liang Wu (502-549), and was originally named Tiefo Temple. It was rebuilt in the Tang Dynasty and named "Mingjiao Temple". It was repaired repeatedly in subsequent dynasties, but was later destroyed by war. It was rebuilt in the ninth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1870). The existing main buildings such as the Main Hall were built in the twelfth year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1886). In the past, pine trees were widely planted around the temple, and the "Teaching Crossbow Pine Shade" was one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Luzhou.
