Introduction to the Knight's House: The Knight's House is located on the southwest side of the Holy Spirit Church. It was built in 1592 and was named after the statue of a knight above the door. It is the only building in Heidelberg that suffered two wars in the 17th century (the Thirty Years' War). The house was not destroyed during the War with Orléans) and is the oldest existing house in Heidelberg. It is now a hotel.
