Introduction to the Cat Drinking Pond: There is a Cat Drinking Pond built by Hemingway for his pet cats in the courtyard of his former residence. It is a sink transformed from the urinal from "Sloppy Joe's Bar". Hemingway's second wife, Pa Lin decorated the sink with tiles and placed an ancient Spanish olive vase from Cuba by the poolside.
