Introduction to the Nine Immortals Temple: The Nine Immortals Temple is located under Zigai Peak, with Xianglu Peak to the west and Tuwu Peak to the east, sandwiching the ethereal Nine Immortals Temple. It is thirteen miles away from Nanyue Town and was originally the site of Shouxian Temple.
On the right side of the Nine Immortals Temple, there is a Podocarpus tree with intertwined roots, a hollow trunk, and a circumference of about five feet. It is a thousand-year-old tree, now half green and half dry. Next to the view, there are six large-character stone carvings of "The Main Altar of the Ascension of Nine Immortals", about two feet square, carved on a flat stone, which is a relic of the Song Dynasty. There is a chessboard stone in front of the temple, with three characters "Wait for me to come" written on it. The characters are more than ten feet high. There are also four characters "Everyone here is an immortal", which is about two feet high. The inscriptions are "Yun Guan" and "Xian Guan". The inscriptions are clear, and there are three words "Deng Qizhen" on the big stone in the middle of Tiancheng behind the temple, which is more than a foot high.
