Introduction to the Confucian Temple: The Confucian Temple, also known as the Confucius Temple, was one of the seven major temples built by Nurhachi, Taizu of the Qing Dynasty. It was also the first Confucius temple in the Qing Dynasty. Its architecture not only retains the style of the traditional Confucian Temple, but also has the architectural characteristics of the Jurchens, reflecting Nurhaci's respect for Confucius and his absorption of advanced Han culture. The completion of the Confucian Temple played a positive role in accelerating the integration of the Manchu and Han nationalities.
