Introduction to the Iron Cable Bridge: The Huajiang Iron Cable Bridge is located on the Beipan River. It was an important hub of transportation between Guizhou and Yunnan in ancient times. It is the central attraction of the canyon and one of the famous ancient iron cable bridges with few remaining remains in the country. The iron cable bridge hangs between two mountains and is made up of thick iron chains. The bridge is 71 meters long and 2.9 meters wide. It is about 70 meters above the water and has hundreds of large beams as the bridge deck. The river under the chain bridge is turbulent, the river is fast and extremely dangerous.
