Khunjerab Port Introduction: Khunjerab is a valley on the Pamir Plateau, known as the "Blood Valley". The oxygen content is less than 50% of that in the plain, the wind is above level 7 or 8 all year round, and the lowest temperature reaches minus 40 degrees Celsius. It is also known as the "Valley of Death" in Persian. "Snow piles up on thousands of mountains, and snow piles on thousands of mountains" is the best way to describe Khunjerab. It is said that before Monk Tang went to the West to seek Buddhist scriptures, a caravan of as many as ten thousand people all died due to a snowstorm. To this day, there are still people who are diligently looking for the treasures abandoned by that caravan.
