Introduction to the scenic spot gate: Hongshan Reservoir is the largest artificial lake in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is located in the east of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and is located on the main tributary of the Xiliao River. It is known as one of the "Mother Rivers of Khitan and Liao Culture". The middle reaches of the Ha River are located at the junction of Songshan District in Aohan Banner, Wengniute Banner, Chifeng City, 90 kilometers away from Chifeng City. The reservoir area has a total area of 214 square kilometers, a total storage capacity of 2.56 billion cubic meters, a water surface of 94 square kilometers, and a controlled drainage area of 24,486 square kilometers, accounting for 74% of the total drainage area of the Laoha River. It is a tourist attraction for sightseeing and summer vacation.
