Introduction to the protected area: The core area of the Heilongjiang Red Star Wetland National Nature Reserve covers an area of 555.68 square kilometers, the buffer area covers an area of 127.21 square kilometers, and the experimental area covers an area of 437.06 square kilometers. It is not only the source water conservation area of the Kuerbin River, an important tributary in the upper reaches of the Heilongjiang River Basin, but also a treasure house of many national rare species.
