Introduction to the Red Tower: The tower is built with bluestone supports and filled with soil. It is a solid attic-style tower with dense eaves. The tower is 35 meters high and has seven levels in total. Each level has eight sides and each side is 3.5 meters long. The tower body shrinks layer by layer from bottom to top until it reaches the top. There is a window on each of the fifth, sixth and seventh floors on the west side of the pagoda. Each hole has a bronze Buddha built in it to bless Yuxi with good weather and good harvests, and bless the people of Yuxi with good fortune and health.
