Introduction to the Anti-Japanese War-themed Sculpture: The sculpture on the west side of the monument shows the Anti-Japanese War theme. The sculpture consists of four Eighth Route Army soldiers who fought bravely to kill the enemy. A warrior stood in the center with a sword held high in his right hand, roaring at the enemy. On each side stood a warrior holding a steel spear tightly, and another warrior carrying a broadsword and holding a spear followed closely behind. This sculpture symbolizes the firm confidence and fearless heroism of the Eighth Route Army soldiers to win the war.
