Introduction to Bethune's statue and mausoleum: Bethune's tomb is located directly west of the Martyrs' Monument. The tomb is square, with an arc-shaped top, facing west to east. The white marble stele is engraved with seven large gold-plated characters: "Tomb of Dr. Bethune". On the tall granite stone pedestal in the center of the square in front of the tomb stands a full-length white marble statue of Bethune, which is 3 meters high. Bethune's name and birth and death dates are engraved on the front of the stone pedestal in Chinese and English. This tomb landscape has not only become an important place for learning and commemorating Bethune, but also a symbol of the friendship between the Chinese and Canadian people, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign audiences every year.
