Introduction to the statue of Zhao Erchun: The statue of martyr Zhao Erchun was initiated by the Wenzhou Youth League Committee and built with donations from nearly 300,000 Wenzhou youths on the 20th anniversary of the death of martyr Zhao Erchun in February 1984. The front of the statue is engraved with the inscription "Zhao Erchun, a model of loving the people" by former Defense Minister Zhang Aiping.
