Classic image introduction: In January 1939, Zhou Enlai was appointed Secretary of the Southern Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. In August, he went to the Soviet Union for treatment of his arm injured in a fall from a horse during the Long March, but it was still not completely healed. In the years that followed, one of Zhou Enlai's classic images was that his right arm was slightly bent and hanging in front of him.
