Introduction to the Black Gibbon: There are 6 subspecies of the Black Gibbon, and the coat color between the sexes varies greatly. Males are completely black, with at most a few white hairs at the corners of their mouths. There is a tuft of hair on the head. The female's coat color ranges from yellowish gray to light brown, with a black spot on the top of the head and abdomen, and the fingers and limbs may be partly dark brown. There is no difference in size between the sexes, and the body weight can reach 8 kilograms. They live in monogamous family groups, consisting of one male, one female and one to three cubs. Territory is marked by their calls. Can use its flexible long arms to jump and climb in trees. They mainly eat fruits, and occasionally some leaves and small animals. Distributed in China (Yunnan), Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Vietnam.
