Introduction to the Central Pillar Grotto: The Central Pillar Grotto is located above the Zetian Hall. The cave is about 13 cubic meters. There is a complete stone pillar in the middle. It is actually a beautifully shaped sutra pagoda with Buddha statues carved on the three stone walls. In the center is Sakyamuni, with Manjushri and Samantabhadra on the left and right. Surrounding the three Buddha statues are carved flying dragons, which according to research were carved in the Northern Zhou Dynasty.
