Introduction to Huayang Ancient Temple: Huayang Ancient Temple was originally a branch temple of Jiuhuashan Temple in Anhui. It was founded by monks from Jiuhuashan Temple in the Yuan Dynasty. It was burned down when the Qing soldiers encircled and suppressed the Taiping Army during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty. The current temple was rebuilt in 1995.
