Introduction to the Chinese Merganser: A national grade I key protected wild animal, occasionally rare. On the afternoon of January 13, 2004, a pair was found in the shallow water area of Daqiao Reservoir, looking for food with a mixed group of mallards. On the morning of February 4th and 5th, 2009, two species were found on the water surface in mixed groups with common mergansers at the head and tail of the Daqiao Reservoir.
