Introduction to Yuelu Academy: Yuelu Academy is the birthplace of Hunan University. It has white walls and blue tiles, and is an ancient courtyard-style structure typical of large southern families. In the middle of the porch, there is a plaque with four large gilt characters "Yuelu Academy" written on it. The couplets on both sides of the door read: Only Chu has talents, and this is the most prosperous place.
