Introduction to Mao Zedong's handwriting: In the middle of the third floor is the carved screen of Du Fu's "Climbing the Yueyang Tower" written by Mao Zedong. It was written by Chairman Mao on his way to Yueyang when the train returned to Beijing from Changsha in the autumn of 1964. His calligraphy is unrestrained, rigorous in layout, strong and straight, with both form and spirit. His brushwork is similar to Huaisu's wild cursive in the Tang Dynasty.
