Introduction to the North Archway Gate: There are steps on both sides of the eaves wall within the city wall platform to climb the city. There is a third-floor archway gate with a masonry structure at the entrance, about 9 meters high. The kissing beasts at both ends of the main ridge are fish tails. The roof is covered with yellow glazed tiles and has figure-eight steps. The archway on the north side was added during the overhaul of Yueyang Tower in 1983-1984. The plaque on the archway reads "Morning light and sunset".
