Introduction to Wensi Temple: Wensi Temple, formerly known as Tongyuan Temple and Dabei Temple, is located next to Huzui Street. The Zen temple was built at the end of the Tang Dynasty and went through the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Due to floods, wars and disasters, it experienced several rises and declines. In the 44th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1705), Xuanye visited the south of the Yangtze River and gave the temple its name, which is still in use today.
