Introduction to the Hofburg Palace: The Hofburg Palace (Hofburg), also known as the Habsburg Palace, was built in 1460 by Duke Sigmund, known historically as the "Grand Duke of Coin". After reconstruction, the palace has returned to the gorgeous style of the eighteenth century, from the Gothic crypt to the beautiful dome; from the Giant Hall to the Lorraine Hall; from the Gada Hall to the chapel of the Noble Women's Convent.
