Introduction to the Leaning Tower of Pisa: The Leaning Tower of Pisa is an eight-story cylindrical building with a height of 54.5 meters and a circular plane diameter of 16 meters. From bottom to top, there are a total of 213 arched doors composed of columns. The marble material weighs 14,200 tons. Its decorative style inherits the classics of the cathedral and the baptistery. The walls are made of marble or limestone with two shades of white bands, decorated with arches with half-exposed square columns, carved doors in the arcades, and rhombus-shaped grates. The flat roof forms a strong contrast between the bright side and the shaded side when exposed to sunlight. The shape is simple and beautiful, bright and majestic, and is a model of Roman architecture.
The leaning tower was closed for repairs in 1990. After ten years of repair and reinforcement, it was reopened in 2005. There are 294 spiral stairs in the tower. You can walk from the stairs to the corridor on any floor and look out at Pisa. The beautiful scenery of the city.
