Toyokuni Shrine Main Hall (Senjokaku) Introduction: Toyokuni Shrine Main Hall (Senjokaku) is located in Itsukushima Shrine. It is a large sutra hall built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi to commemorate the souls of the soldiers who died in the war. The official name is Toyokuni Shrine. It is the largest building in Miyajima, with an area equivalent to 857 "folds", so it is called Senjokaku. Senjo Pavilion and the adjacent five-story pagoda have been designated as important cultural properties. Its majestic and stylish appearance has passed down the Momoyama architectural style to this day.
