Daisho-in Introduction: is the oldest temple in Miyajima and the headquarters of the Shingon Sect's imperial sect. Because it is located on the mountainside of Misan Mountain, it has a quiet environment and beautiful scenery. You can see the street view on the other side from a distance. Toyotomi Hideyoshi once held singing performances in the garden of the temple. It was protected by powerful people and had a deep relationship with the imperial family. It can be said that it is a temple of high standard. It is also well-known as a scenic spot for viewing red leaves. Around mid-November, maples, maple leaves and other leaves turn red, making it possible to view the red leaves which are worth seeing.
