Introduction to Lake Kawaguchi: Located in Kawaguchiko Town, it is the second largest lake among the Fuji Five Lakes and the center of Five Lakes tourism. It has an altitude of 831 meters, a maximum water depth of 15 meters, and an area of 5.7 square kilometers. Peidao in the lake is the only island among the five lakes. There is a shrine on the island dedicated to blessing pregnant women with safe childbirth. There is also a 1,260-meter-long cross-lake bridge on the lake. The reflection of Mount Fuji reflected in Lake Kawaguchi is known as one of the wonders of Mount Fuji.
