Introduction to the Kidron Valley: The Kidron Valley is a valley along the east wall of the Old City of Jerusalem. It is located between the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives. It runs eastward from the Mount of Olives through Judea. The desert reaches the Dead Sea. It is mentioned many times in the Bible and is the location of many Jewish graves. During rainy winters, occasional flash floods create an intermittent stream in the Kidron Valley.
