Introduction to the Monument of King Haotai: It is also called the Monument of King Haotai, the Monument of King Guangkai Tu, the Monument of the Tomb of King Guangkai Tu or the Monument of King Yongle. It is located on Dabei Street, Taiwang Township, 4 kilometers east of Ji'an City, Jilin Province.
The stele is made of a square cylindrical breccia tuff boulder slightly modified. The stone is rough and the surface of the stele is uneven. It is 6.39 meters high, 1.34 to 1.97 meters wide at the bottom, 1 to 1.6 meters wide at the top, and the widest part on the third side can reach 2 meters. There are a total of 1,775 inscriptions engraved on all sides. The font is between Lushu and regular script. The inscriptions engraved in Chinese characters record the achievements of King Haotai in his life of conquering the east and west, the myths and legends of the founding of the country, and the apportionment and system of the tobacco households guarding the tomb. , is the longest precious written material preserved in Goguryeo to this day.
