Introduction to Cha'an Temple: It is said that when the astronomer Thich Nhat Hanh of the Tang Dynasty traveled to the Lingnan area, he came here to observe the celestial phenomena and draw star maps. He built a small thatched stove and lived here, growing tea and living in a thatched hut. They lived by growing tea, and the thatched cottage was called "Cha'an".
