Introduction to the Octagonal Pavilion: The garden of the ancient house is on the west side of the third main block and is a highlight of Jiang's ancient residence. Hidden among the trees beside the wall is an octagonal half pavilion with double eaves and pointed peaks. The pavilion is a two-story structure. It is said that the middle floor is movable and can be moved and a ladder can be set up for the lady to go upstairs to play the piano.
