Introduction to Shiban Street: Shiban Street is three miles long, with the main road being 800 meters long and paved with 2,072 strips of granite slabs. The stone street was first built in the Southern Song Dynasty. After many renovations, it has become the current criss-crossing pattern that runs through the north and south of the ancient town. It is the longest, best and most complete stone street preserved in the Jiangnan ancient town.
