Introduction to Laojun Beach: Located 2 kilometers upstream of the dam, it is a platform in the river valley formed by flood erosion. According to legend, the founder of Taoism, Laozi Li Er (Tai Shang Laojun), once practiced alchemy here. There is the ruins of Laojun Temple on the high hill to the east of the beach, and there is Immortal Island in the northwest corner of the beach, opposite Laojun Temple across the mountain. There is a Bagua Cave halfway up the cliff on the south side of the beach, which is more than 7 meters high. It is said that Laojun made elixirs here.
