Introduction to Dragon Scale Pine: Also known as Whitebark Pine, it is named Dragon Scale Pine because it grows on the Dragon's Back Great Wall and its trunk is covered with mottled patches of color, resembling dragon scales. It is the only three-needle pine in Asia and grows on cliffs above 800 meters above sea level. There are more than 16,000 dragon-scale pine trees of various shapes in the Longji Great Wall of Shennong Mountain, which is the largest and most concentrated native place of wild dragon-scale pine trees in the country.
