Introduction to Bodhi Temple: Bodhi Temple is located in the col of Xunmeng Peak, the main peak of Zhuque Mountain. Surrounded by dense forests and shrouded by auspicious clouds, this place was once the site of the Small Guanyin Temple in Zhuque Mountain (commonly known as Shimiaozi). The original site of Bodhi Temple is outside Zhihe Gate in Jilin City. Its predecessor was the Earth Temple of the Seven Saints Temple built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It was destroyed during the ten years of turmoil. In 1997, the current site was selected for reconstruction.
