Introduction to Mao Zedong's former residence in Dajing: Mao Zedong's former residence is located in the center of Dajing Village. Because the walls are white, it is often called the "White House". This house was originally called "Xinwuxia", with a total of 44 rooms, five patios, and an area of nearly 1,000 square meters. In October 1927, Mao Zedong led the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army to Jinggangshan and lived here. There are many stories circulated here about Mao Zedong visiting the poor and asking questions, reforming Wang Zuo's troops, reading books, and training troops. The former residences of Zhu De, Chen Yi and Peng Denuan are also here. In 1961, with the approval of the State Council, Mao Zedong's former residence, "Evergreen Tree" and "Reading Stone" in Dajing were listed as national key cultural relics protection units.
