In the Qing Dynasty, this pavilion was converted into Taibai Tower, where Taoist priests lived downstairs.
The original building was destroyed by war in 1937, but has now been rebuilt. In the first floor hall of the building is a plaster sculpture of a seated Li Bai. The poet looks sideways into the distance, as if he is looking at the white clouds in the sky, and he is nostalgic for each other with Jingting Mountain.
