Introduction to the stele with the character "goose": The stele with the character "goose" is 6 feet high and 3 feet wide. The character "goose" is engraved in a large cursive script on the stele. The strokes are vigorous and powerful, written in one go. It was written by a native of Danzhou, Haimen, in the Liao Dynasty. In the 20th year of the Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty (1815), Song Qinghe, the magistrate of Shunzhou, presided over the engraving. On the stele there is a couplet inscribed in cursive script by Wang Yangming of the Ming Dynasty: "The strong thoughts and phoenixes fly into the clouds of love, the harmonious light of spring and the refreshing air of autumn are high."
