Introduction to Xuanmiao Temple: Xuanmiao Temple was built in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. It was named after Laozi’s Taoist metaphysics. It has been renamed many times: Tianqing Temple, Xiandu Palace, and Yuanmiao Temple. Jingzhou Xuanmiao Temple, Taihui Temple, and Kaiyuan Temple are collectively referred to as the "Jingzhou Three Temples". They all have the style and characteristics of Taoist temples in the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties.
